NSP ArtNet-8 Lighting Controller/Signal Processor

The network signal processor (NSP) is the connection device between the Ethernet and the DMX controlled device. NSP can also be used for other control applications; when it is used in MA networks, its comprehensive capabilities are obvious. There are three different modes.
High-speed data transmission
For decentralized DMX networks, NSP can convert incoming Ethernet data to DMX 512 data. In order to convert DMX data, it is necessary to support two different Ethernet protocols-MA-Net and Art-Net. Data is transferred through four independent DMX interfaces, two of which can also be configured as DMX inputs. NSP has an intuitive menu structure, four function keys and a coding wheel, which facilitates on-site configuration. The backlit LCD screen with two lines of text can display all important information and operating status. NSP is installed in a housing with a height of only 1U, which can provide professional applications and flexibility.

When using NSP, you can choose three working modes of the network signal processor. Depending on the specific application, NSP can convert DMX input and output in Ethernet as a DMX combiner or distributor, and can even add parameters to expand your grandMA system
More channels – circuit expansion and multiprocessing
In the MA-Net network, NSP can expand the dispersion channel for all grandMA consoles (except grandMA micro/pico). For this purpose, not only the DMX signal but also all necessary calculations can be distributed in the NSP. With NSP, the grandMA console becomes a powerful multiprocessing system. The fast two-way data exchange between the grandMA console and the NSP ensures that the DMX output on all NSP devices can be highly synchronized. Each NSP can calculate 2048 channels. Up to 16 NSPs can be used for the output of 64 DMX lines (32,768 channels).
